Our Story

“It’s A Girl Thing” is initiative by Aondongusha Uchi Memorial Foundation (NGO)  began in 2014 with a mission to ensure that no girl misses school, or develops an infection due to poor menstrual Hygiene and to also eradicate shame and restrictions around talks about menstrual health.
Impact so far:

    • Reached 13,000+ girls

    • Distributed 13,000+ books

    • Given out 6,500+ essentials for hygiene.
  • Conducted school and community outreach nationwide

GIRL GEAR BOOKLET

Sponsor the book for free distribution to the young and growing girls. The book is designed to answer some personal questions and guide the girls through difficult conversations and situations.
